NH&MP adopts best strategies to facilitate commuters

PESHAWAR: National highways & Motorway Police besides implementation of federal government rules & regulations also shoulder the responsibility of providing safe passage to the commuters and rendering swiftly help to the public.

In this regard, on the directives of Superintendant of Police, Mr. Shah Asad Khan Islamabad-Peshawar motorway, Sector M-1 came up with best strategies in the holy month of Ramadan and during Eid and facilitated motorists at the maximum.

To avoid any criminal activity, the patrolling activities were strengthened by the deployment of extra mobiles during dark hours, besides effective supervision by the senior officers.

The patrolling mobiles had been directed for speedy patrolling within the areas of their responsibilities and watch and wards on crime prone spots. “Owing to these best strategies adopted by NHMP, no crime occurred or reported during the holy month of Ramadan,” says a press release issued from the office of the Superintendent of Motorway Police Anbaar, Swabi.

In the press release, the field officers have been appreciated adding that untiring efforts, vigilant and active duties yielded positive results.

It is pertinent to mention here that NHMP sector M-1 deployed maximum officers at Islamabad & Peshawar main toll plazas to provide safe passage and avoid any traffic congestion in rush hours when people were going back at the end of Eid holidays.
