Nine injured in gas cylinder blast

PESHAWAR: Nine people including five kids and two women, of the same family, were injured when a gas cylinder exploded due to leakage at a house in Sahaheedabad area of Pandu on Saturday.

According to the spokesperson of Rescue 1122, Bilal Ahmad Faizi, a gas cylinder was exploded in a house of one Riaz due to gas leakage early in the morning. As result of the explosion, nine members of the family at home received burn injuries.

Rescue teams reached to spot and rushed the injured to Lady Reading Hospital where one Naz Bibi wife of Riaz was stated to be in critical condition.
