Nine Policemen, 12 Taliban fighters killed in Ghazni

GHAZNI: As many as nine policemen and 12 Taliban fighters were killed in different clashes in Ghazni province on Saturday afternoon. Similarly two policemen and four Taliban fighters were injured in clashes.

The officials confirmed that the clashes were started between the police and Taliban fighters in Zana Khan, De Yak, Qarabagh, Khaja Omari and Ab Band districts of Ghazni province after the Taliban fighters attacked the check posts.

However, the officials did not provide further details about the clashes and the Taliban also not commented over the attacks.
