NIRC Islamabad notification: Appointment of central office bearers and executive members

ISLAMABAD: In accordance with the recent notification issued by NIRC Islamabad, 17 Central Office bearers and 33 Executive members have been officially appointed.

The notable office bearers include Central President Anwar Gujjar, Senior Vice President Junaid Awan, Voice Persistent-I Riaz kashmiri, Chairman Raja Jameel, Vice Chairman Chaudary Muhammad Shabbir, Chief Organizer Ghulam Nabi Brohi, Central General Secretary Zafar Ejaz, Joint Secretary Reham Taaj Shenwari, among others.

The consultation process involved Prof. Dr. Qadir Khan Mandukhel, Advocate, who was elected as the Central Guardian.

Additionally, the Railway Workers Union workshops have emerged victorious in the referendum, declaring CBA and surpassing Pream Union in workshop divisions by a significant margin. Railway Workers Union Open Line is now poised to proceed with the case in NIRC Islamabad, urging action in open line elections.

Zafar Malik, Secretary General, emphasized the critical role of Railways, addressing issues such as delayed salaries, regularization, TLA staff concerns, contract staff matters, PM package, and the status of DG funds for teachers.

Malik further stated that Railway employees are advocating for a referendum in open line elections, highlighting the importance of addressing key issues within Pakistan Railways, including the regularity of staff, privatization concerns, and more.
