F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Chaudhry Nisar has criticized the Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal for his failure of controlling the situation in the Faizabad sit-in.

This he said while issuing a statement in response to Ahsan Iqbal interview to private news channel on Sunday in which he said that the casualities took place outside the Nisar’s residence in the area but it is yet to be known as to who had opened fire.

Nisar added that not a single person was injured outside his residence in Rawalpindi and the interior minister trying to cover his incompetency by issuing such baseless statements.

Earlier on Saturday the protestors had entered Nisar’s residence near Faizabad area in Rawalpindi and set fire to the gate but fortunately he and his family were not at their residence at the time of the incident.

Nisar added that Ahsan Iqbal is the same persons who promised to vacate the Faizabad interchange in three hours and now he is trying to put all the burden of operation on the courts.

PML-N stalwart added that it is very unfortunate for a country that we have a interior minister like Ahsan Iqbal who is unaware and irresponsible
