ISLAMABAD: Defense Minister Khurram Dastagir has said that US cannot dictate Pakistan by withholding aid and adding that US blaming us for their failure.
This he said while giving interview international news outlet. Dastagir said that Pakistan are taking action against Jamaat-ud-Dawa (JuD) as it is part of operation Raddul Fasaad and has nothing to do with the US.
He added that cooperation between Pakistan and US has almost stopped and adding that Indian involvement in the recent times create rift among the two allies and the biggest reason behind it is CPEC.
We made it clear to the US government that Pakistan is not responsible for its failure in Afghanistan so stop the blame game anymore, he added.
Instead of stopping India from using Afghan soil against Pakistan, the US became a friend of them and leveling baseless allegation which is not the language of cooperation to each other.
Dismissing the deadline given by the US to take action against the Haqqani Network, the minister said Pakistan is an independent nuclear power which cannot be given such deadlines.
