F.P. Report

LAHORE: Expressing concerns over Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif’s illness, Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday demanded of the government to provide appropriate health facilities to the former prime minister.

Chairing a meeting of PPP’s parliamentary members of Punjab, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that there was no political agenda behind his meeting with Nawaz Sharif.

He said that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s illness should be treated seriously. Sources said that the PPP delegation would be compromised on Bilawal Bhutto, Hassan Murtaza, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Jameel Soomro and others.

It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari would meet former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for inquiring about his health on Monday.

Punjab home department, on March 9, had permitted the PPP chairman to meet the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supremo jailed at Kot Lakhpat jail after approving his formal request for the meeting.

The home department also informed the PPP leadership regarding the development.
