NOWSHERA: Northern University Nowshera has secured 1st position in speech competition among private sector varsities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Higher Education Authority and National Counter Terrorism has arranged the competition with the title “Role Universities for Sustainable Peace and Counter Extremism in which large students from private sector varsities participated.
Northern University Nowshera, CECOS University, Sarhad University Qurtaba, Iqra, Preston and Ghandahara varsities students participated in the speech competition while Northern varsity has secured his title.
During the competition Chairman Higher Education Authority Fazal Qadir, Vice Chancellor Iqra University Professor Shah Jahan and Director NCTA Salah Zakria were present. Northern University student Waleed Ali Gul, Muskan Shahid and Sana Khursheed secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively during the speech competition.
