NSC meeting: Pakistan strongly rejects US allegations
ISLAMABAD: A National Security Committee (NSC) was held in the chair of PM Shahid Khaqan Abbasi in which country’s top security personalities were present and they reviewed the US policy for Pakistan and Afghanistan and strongly rejected the US allegations of proving safe heavens to the terrorists.
A statement was issued after meeting, that peaceful Afghanistan is in the Pakistan interest and Pakistan always provided assistance for the rehabilitation of Afghanistan and also providing home to millions of Afghan since 80s.
Regarding India, it said that India is the part of problem not a solution and India cannot be only responsible for peace in the region. The meeting said that Pakistan nuclear weapons are in safe hand and adding that Pakistan is a responsible nuclear power and now the international community needs to stop spreading that false news.
Pakistan was facing terrorism from the across the border and instead of stopping the US leveled baseless allegations against Pakistan which is not acceptable.
