NUST student develops automated traffic signals

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Traffic signals will no longer cause traffic jams as a student of NUST University has introduced automated signals system which will operate by only observing traffic.

According to details, the signals will be operated by a modern system and app which will help avoid traffic jams from occurring on any road.

The signals will flash according to traffic instead of staying green or red for their designated amount of time.

Moreover, the signals will automatically control traffic by identifying emergency and security vehicles. Even, ambulance service will also not be affected by traffic jams.

On the other side, the Chairman Capital Development Authority Captain (Rtd) Muhammad Usman has also expressed his interest in the new signals. He has invited the university student for a briefing next week.
