OGRA recommends 235pc increase in gas prices

ISLAMABAD: Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended increase of 235 percent in gas prices, on Saturday.

According to local news channel report, OGRA has suggested to reduce gas slabs to 6 from 7 and also proposed to increase gas cost by 204 percent for domestic users.

On the other hand, the value of the US dollar against the rupee touched another all-time high for the third consecutive day, reaching approximately Rs151 after gaining Rs4 against the rupee in the open market.

Dollar was traded at Rs151 in the open market, whereas in the interbank market it increased to around Rs149.
