Omer: Govt to fulfill responsibility of ending energy crises

HARIPUR: Federal Minister for Water and Power Omer Ayub Khan on Sunday said that we would fulfill the responsibility of ending the energy crises form the country.

He said this while addressing a public gathering after the inauguration of Sui gas provision projects here at Maira Tot, Mohri and Nigar Dheri.

Omer Ayub further said that provision of sui gas and electricity in the deprived areas is his top priority, dur ing a very short period of time we have got a large number of developmental projects for district Haripur that we have a very short time to cope with the completion dates, adding he said.

The minister maintained that all the destitute villages would be provided Sui gas within six months and would complete the developmental schemes those were not completed during the last 12 years.

Talking about electricity provision projects Omer Ayub Khan said that Hattar 220 KV grid  station and 132 KV grid stations of Khanpur and Sari Saleh would resolve the issues of electricity for the next 50 years.
