One dead, five injured in Lahore shoe factory fire

LAHORE: Rescue officials told media that at least one killed and five other workers were injured after fire broke out at a shoe factory in Rampura area of Batapur near Lahore in the early hours of Friday.

The private news channel reported that at least five vehicles of fire brigade reached the spot and extinguishing the blaze after hectic efforts.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospitals.

Rescue sources said that the cause of the fire is still not known.
