SARGODHA: Police officials confirmed that at least one person died and four others were injured after a truck hit a rickshaw at Phulwaran Road in Sarghoda on Wednesday.
Police official added that the incident happened because of the over speeding of a truck and after the incident the truck driver managed to escape from the scene. The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police took in custody the truck, rickshaw and after registering a case against the driver at large have started raids for his arrest.
