One killed in Swabi over minor dispute

SWABI: Rivalry erupted on over speed of motorcycle resulted in killing of one person and injuring two sons of the deceased in a far-flung village of the district here on Wednesday, said police.

The incident was occurred in Gar Munara village. Injured Hazrat Bilal, son of killed Mir Alam told police that he along with his father and brother, Faizul Amin standing in front of their house and suddenly Sultan Rum, Asghar Khan, Aftab Khan, and Ahmad appeared while holding sticks in their hands.

They started abusing and beating them with full force. As result father and his two sons were seriously injured and they were taken to Bacha Khan Hospital Complex, Shahmansoor. Later, their father succumbed to injuries.

The cause of the incident was that their cousin Mohammad Telha conducted over speed and they assailants were not happy over that. The police have registered FIR against the four aforementioned accused and started investigation. In a related development, Hilal Khan, who taught in government higher secondary school Tandkoi and belonged to Kadi village was killed in a firing incident. It has been learnt that a mad dog entered in the area and Taimur Khan opened fire on it to kill him. He missed the target but Hilal was hit by a bullet and killed on the spot. Mohammad Umer, father of the killed teacher has registered an FIR in Zaida police station against Taimur and demanded his arresting.
