LANDI KOTAL: One volunteer of pro-government organization, Tawheed-ul-Islam (TI) was killed and two other sustained injuries when their vehicle plunged into a deep ravine here at Zayarai area of Landi Kotal, sub-division on Monday.
The administration sources told that the three supporters of TI,on boarded in non custom paid car were on its way to Landi Kotal bazaar from Tabai, Bazaar Zakha Khel, the remote and hilly area when it filled down into hundreds feet down ditch while negotiating a sharp curve. One person identified as Anwar s/o Yar Alam of Khesrogee tribe was killed on the spot while his two colleagues known as Abdul Manan and Raqeeb received multiple wounds.
Soon after an accident, the locals moved to the spot and retrieved the body and the injured and shifted them to district headquarter hospital for medico-legal formalities, the sources informed. The vehicle was completely destroyed in the happen, locals told. The cause of the road mishap was stated to be fast driving.
