ISLAMABAD: On Febr-uary 7th, Minister for Inf-ormation and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has labeled transparency in elections as the strength of democracy and criticized opposition for opposing open ballot decision for Senate elections.
Further he also remarked that opposition’s uproar on the decision to ensure transparency in the Senate elections was beyond understanding.
Referring to the Senate elections, he commented that by opposing “open ballot” in Senate polls, the opposition parties have clarified that they did not want to end use of money in politics.
