Opposition alliance is a failed attempt to save corruption: Shahbaz Gill

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Chief Spokesperson of Punjab Chief Minister Dr Shahbaz Gill on Sunday said that the alliance of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is a failed attempt to protect their corruption.

Reacting to the statement of Punjab Opposition Leader Hamza Shahbaz, he said that the PML-N leader is upset as he is missing jail, adding that if former prime minister Nawaz Sharif was granted bail, he wouldn’t have been in the country today.

He asked if PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would today ask Hamza Shahbaz and Maryam Nawaz about when they would drag former president and PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on road.

Dr Gill further said that the country’s economy damaged due to their corruption and TT transactions, adding that strategy on how to save Swiss Bank accounts and Avenfield properties would be devised today.

“People have seen that the Zardaris’ and Sharif family are two sides of a coin,” he added.
