Opposition insults its agenda: Shaukat

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa minister for Information Shaukat Ali Yousafzai has said that the opposition insults its agenda in the provincial assembly, opposition members do not have anything for active politics so they go  on strike in assembly, Instead of talking on public issues, opposition  members start protesting.

He expressed these views while talking to the media after Assembly passed the local government amendment Bill 2019.  Shaukat Yousufzai said that the new local government system would be  best in which the power were transferred to the lower level.  The new  local government system will make the province more progressive.

The  opposition had got four days to bring more good amendments to the bill,  but nothing could be presented in the assembly. He said that BTAP were  to be discussed.  Akram Khan Durrani showed the media those places from where the project has been transferred to the second place on the basis of dispute between two tribes and Water logging. 350 workers fired on the basis of making mistakes and negligence, of which five people are from Akram Durani’s constituency, so he is trying to mislead the nation on this project.
