‘Opposition should accept Pakistan has changed’
PESHAWAR: Information Minister Khyber Pakthunkhwa, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai here Thursday said that Pakistan has changed and the opposition should accept this reality and the country has been put on road to progress and development under leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Commenting on a statement of the former President and PPP Co Chairman Asif Ali Zardari, the Information Minister said the campaign of the opposition to protect the plunders and looters has failed and could not befooled the masses any more through their hallow slogans and malicious propaganda.
“The accountability process has began in the country for the first time against bigwigs,” he said adding “ Pakistan will not progress if the process of accountability interrupted.”
The corrupt elements and plunders of the national wealth were afraid of impartial accountability started by the present Govt, he said.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was doing politics under the umbrella of corruption committed by his father, he alleged.
“The era of Sharif Family has finished and now its Zardari turn to reply to the nation’s quarries about corruption in wake of JIT report on fake accounts,’ he said.
