Pak Army wins 18thNational Netball C’ship

ISLAMABAD (APP): Pakistan Army on Tuesday won men and women both titles of 18th National Netball Championship held at Hameedi Hall, Pakistan Sports Complex.

Federal Secretary, Ministry of Inter Provincial Coordination, Akbar Hussain Durrani was the chief guest and presented trophies, Medals and certificates among the winners. Chairman, Pakistan Netball Federation, capt (r) Zafar Iqbal Awan, President, Mudassar Arian, Secretary General, Muhammad Riaz and a large number of peoples were also present on the occasion.

In the final match of Men’s category, Pakistan Army beat WAPDA by 32-28 goals while in women category Pakistan Army beat Sindh by 30-20 goals.

Similarly, in the Men’s 3rd position, Pakistan Navy beat Sindh by 35-22 goals while WAPDA beat HEC by 29-18 goals in the women third position match. WAPDA and Sindh could not defend the man and woman titles respectively.
