Pakhtuns rendered matchless sacrifices: Hoti

F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Provincial President of Awami National Party (ANP) and former Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that Pakhtuns rendered matchless sacrifices in the war against terror and despite such sacrifices Pakhtuns are being victimized and kept neglected.

He said this while addressing the party meeting on Saturday, he hailed Chief Justice of Pakistan for taking Suo motu notice of the murder of Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud and expressed the hope the people involved in the brutal killing would be brought to justice.

He said that killing Naqeeb Ullah Mehsud was actually a very big conspiracy against Pakhtuns and termed Naqeeb is the Shaheed of Pakhtuns.

Ameer Haider said that Asma like inhuman incident spread fear among the children and urged upon concern quarters to take immediate action by arresting the culprits.

He said that many of the political parties have engaged in point scoring over the incident in Kasur and Mardan.

He said that instead of condemning the said incidents certain parties have highlighted the Kasur incident and adopted the discriminatory attitude towards Mardan incident.

Comparing the response of the Chief Minister Punjab and KP, Ameer Haider expressed grave concern that the CM KP Pervez Khattak failed to take immediate response and even did not visit the victim house in Mardan till five days while Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif on the next morning went to the home of Kasur victim.

He said that a peaceful protest of ANP would be continued till the arrests of those people involved in Asma’s murder case.
