Pakistan allows UAE for Wizzair flights

F.P. Report

KARACHI: To facilitate travellers between Pakistan and United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Pakistani government granted permission for Wizzair to operate its flights to Pakistan.

Pakistan has given permission to Wizzair Abu Dhabi to start operations in Pakistan.

The spokesperson of Civil Aviation of Pakistan said the matters with the United Arab Emirates have been settled and now WizzAir Abu Dhabi is going to start flights to Pakistan soon.

The CAA spokespersons said that Pakistan requested the UAE government to allow a private airline of Pakistan to operate in the UAE.

The spokesperson confirmed that no response has been given by the United Arab Emirates yet but Pakistan is trying to get permission for the private airline to provide more convenience to those travelling from Pakistan.

It may be recalled that the Federal Cabinet in a meeting on Thursday approved UAE’s Wizzair Abu Dhabi operations in Pakistan.
