Pakistan: Ballistic Missile Ghaznavi training launch achieved successfully

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan has achieved a milestone by enhancing its military might as it succeeded in training launch of Ballistic Missile Ghaznavi on February 3rd.

Armed Forces Media W-ing commented on the success stating that, Pakistan conducted a successful training launch of surface to surface ballistic missile Ghaznavi, capable of delivering nuclear and conventional warheads up to a range of 290 kilometers.

While giving out more details, armed forces media wing underlined that the training launch was the culminating point of the Annual Field Training Exercise of Army Strategic Forces Command.

The president, prime minister and service chiefs had congratulated all ranks of Army Strategic Forces Command, scientists and engineers on successful co-nduct of ballistic missile Ghaznavi launch, the arm-ed forces media wing said.

On the other hand the commander of Army Strategic Forces Command praised the operational awareness and display of outstanding standard in handling and operating the weapon system.

Additionally he also expressed full satisfaction on the training standards of participating troops, attained throughout this training activity.

The training launch was witnessed by Commander Army Strategic Forces Command, Lieutenant General Ali, senior officers from Strategic Plans Division, Army Strategic Forces Command, Scientists and Engineers of the strategic organizations.
