Pakistan expresses concern over killing of Rohingya Muslims

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Office Spokesperson, Nafees Zakaria has said that Pakistan is deeply concerned over the reports of killing Rohingya Muslims and forcing them to leave their town.

He added that if these reports were confirmed than it is a serious matter and will spread anguish among the Muslims of the world.  Pakistan demanded from the Myanmar authorities to investigate reports of Muslims killing and punish those who are involved in killing of Rohingya Muslims, he added.

Nafees further added that Pakistan will continue to raise voice for the rights of Muslim minorities in the world and will raise issue on International level and on OIC platform to make sure to safeguard the rights of the Muslims.
