Pakistan is a dream turned into reality: CM

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan on Tuesday said that the day of August 14 reminds us of the people of Pakistan movement who have turned the dream of establishment of Pakistan into reality, regardless of their lives and possessions.
The Chief Minister expressed these views on the auspicious occasion of the Independence Day of Pakistan and said that the recent infiltration in occupied Kashmir by Indian armed forces is a highly contentious move which he added is tantamount to depriving Kashmiri people of their fundamental human rights and also pose a challenge to international human rights organizations.
The Chief Minister greeted the entire Pakistani nation and especially the masses of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on the independence Day and said that the pursuit of real goals of the country has just kicked off and is not far off the day when the dreams of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Iqbal will be fulfilled.
He said that the people have supported Imran Khan to foster a transparent and dignified democracy saying that Imran Khan was capable of steering the country out of the prevailing crisis.
He said that it will be written in the annals of history that the PTI government has established a solid and transparent system in the country which has strengthened the institutions and eliminated the privileged and exploitative classes.
Chief Minister Mehmood Khan said that steps were being taken to ensure merit, transparency and good governance in the province adding that the results of which are coming out and the inhabitant of the province have acknowledged that the PTI government has delivered whatever it has promised public.
He recalled that today one should not forget the soldier of the Armed Forces and KP Police and other law enforcement agencies who had sacrificed their lives for the security of Pakistan.
He maintained that the resolve of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Government is the complete elimination of corruption in the province. He said that PTI-led government gave the province a system that would achieve the ideal of good governance.
The Chief Minister said that on the day of Independence, we have to reiterate our commitment that we, as a nation, transcend personal interests and give priority to the national interest so that the dream of the true spirit of Pakistan would be accomplished.
