Pakistan to host World Bodybuilding event for first time

ISLAMABAD (NNI): Pakistan will host the World Bodybuilding event for the first time in the country’s history in October this year.
According to reports, the World Bodybuilding Organization has granted permission to Pakistan to host the event for the first time.
The mega event will take place in October, in which more than 300 bodybuilders and models will take part in 30 categories including Mr. and Miss Universe.
The international event will be held under the Global Powerlifting and Physique International, GPBI Pakistan President Ramiz Ibrahim Khan said.
He said that bodybuilders from 40 countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Germany, and India will participate in the event.
Pakistan’s famous actors Umar Shahzad and Mohammad Raees will appear in the event in the fashion model category.
Three women from Pakistan will also be in action in the powerlifting category.
Ramiz Ibrahim Khan said that for the first time in the history of bodybuilding, Pakistan will host such a big event.
