Pakistan U-19 defeat Australia in first Youth ODI match

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan under-19 comfortably defeated Australia by six wickets in first Youth One-Day International (ODI) series on Wednesday in Melbourne.

Australia were bowled in the 46th over and set a target of 242 for the green shirts and in reply Pakistan achieved the required runs in 45th over.

Musa Khan took four wickets for 33 runs while Arshad Iqbal clinched three wickets  and conceding 53 runs.

Pakistan’s top three batsman crossed 30 runs each to add to the winning total while middle-order players Saad Khan and Ali Zaryab added 53 and 63 off 62 and 92 deliveries in that order.

Pakistan is to meet Australian Under-19 at the same The Albert Ground in Melbourne on coming Friday. Total three will be played in the series.
