Pakistan wants to strengthen relation with Russia says Khawaja Asif

NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has said that Pakistan wants more strengthen relations with the Russia in different fields and particularly in the field of promoting trade and economic cooperation.

Khawaja Asif said while holding a meeting with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergie Lavrov in New York on Friday. Both the foreign ministers discussed the bilateral relation and mutual efforts for promoting and strengthening the relation among the two countries and also develop mutual stance for the international and regional security situation.

Foreign Minister Lavrov had given invitation to Khawaja Asif to visit Moscow for bilateral discussions and strengthening the relation between the two countries.
