Pakistan witnesses big fall in gold prices

ISLAMABAD: The gold market in Pakistan witnessed a big fall and rates of yellow metal decreased by Rs3,300 per tola on Tuesday.

According to report, the gold market closed at the price of pure 24-karat gold at Rs1,81,800 per tola.

The price of 10 grams of 24 karats of gold has also decreased by Rs2,829 and traded at the rate of Rs1,55,864 while the 22 karats of gold per 10-gram traded at Rs1,42,875.

In the international market, the price of pure gold increased by $5 one ounce to $1,876 one ounce.

On the other hand, the rates of fine silver of 24 karats have been increased by Rs30 to Rs2,100 and 10 grams of 24 karats silver rates increased by Rs25.71 to Rs1,800.41.
