Pakistani batsmen likely to face difficulty in England: Shoaib Akhtar

RAWALPINDI: Former Pakistani Fast bowler, Shoaib Akhtar has said that Pakistani batsmen likely to face difficulty in English condition.

Former speedster said this while talking to media persons on Sunday. He said that Pakistani batsmen needs to 15 days to adjust with the English condition during their England tour.

England tour and condition were always problematic for the Pakistani batsmen but hopefully that the green shirts will come on top, Akhtar said.

He suggested the green team to not take Ireland lightly and play against them like any other team.

The Pakistani team kicked off the tour with a four-day match against Kent on Saturday.

The national team will take on Ireland, which will be playing its first ever Test match on May 11, before playing against England on May 24 and June 1. This will be followed by two T20 internationals against Scotland on May 12 and 13.
