MOSCOW : Pakistani leather goods manufacturers present their goods at the International Winter Fashion Exhibition in Moscow.
Pakistan’s Ambassador to Russia, Muhammad Khalid Jamali visited today Pakistani stalls at the International Winter Fashion Exhibition “Le Show” being held in Moscow on June 4-6, 2024.
The Ambassador personally welcomed Pakistani businessmen in Moscow, expressing confidence that such an event would help establish new business contacts and contribute to boosting Pak-Russia bilateral trade.
This is a good opportunity to introduce high quality leather goods to the Russian market and enhance bilateral trade, the Ambassador added.
While talking to the Russian media, the Ambassador underscored that bilateral trade between Pakistan and Russia is growing steadily, last year it reached 1 billion USD.
However, Pakistan is committed to further expanding trade ties between the countries, Ambassador Jamali noted, adding that a new land route from Pakistan to Russia via Iran and Azerbaijan, which is operational now, will greatly contribute to this.
Nineteen Pakistani companies from leather sector displaying leather and its articles, goods and accessories are taking part in the exhibition.
Such a representative delegation under the umbrella of TDAP is taking part in a Russian exhibition after a gap of few years.
