Pakistan’s first patient fully cured from deadly coronavirus

KARACHI: Pakistan’s first coronavirus patient has fully recovered from the deadly virus and is set to be discharged from hospital soon.

The patient, Yahya Jafferi, belonging to Sindh had tested positive for the virus on 26th February and was under quarantine at Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi. Doctors at the hospital have now termed him healthy and fit to be discharged from the hospital this week.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah has congratulated the patient and his family on his recovery. He thanked his entire team monitoring the contagion in the province and called the first patient’s recovery a ‘major success’.
