Pakistan expressed serious concerns over Israeli attacks on the worshipping Palestinian Muslims in Al-Aqsa Mosque, and Pakistan stands with Palestinian Brothers. While addressing a news conference in Islamabad, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said brutal use of force against innocent Palestinian worshippers by Israeli Forces is unacceptable, Pakistan strongly condemn the Israeli inhumane action in Al-Aqsa Mosque and called for immediate de-escalation of the situation. Qureshi also suggested an immediate Ministerial level meeting of the OIC and a Special emergency meeting of UN General Assembly to discuss the situation. Presently, Israeli fascist regime-initiated Air Strikes in Gaza and West Bank after fueling violence and bloodshed in Al-Aqsa Mosque. In a response to Israeli atrocities, Palestinian freedom fighters fired rockets on Israel.
According to reports, the ongoing escalation between Israel and unarmed Palestinian is the most intense conflict after the 50 days battle of Summer 2014. During the fight, Israeli Air Force targeted and smash down several high rise buildings in Gaza and killed 35 Palestinian and injured 200 individuals, while Hamas fighters hit densely populated Tel Aviv Metropolitan area over the night and charged 5 Israelis to death and injured many. There is widespread condemnation of Israeli offensive on Palestinian worshippers during the only month of Ramadan.
Israeli Military had called upon its 5000 reserve troops and mounting a military buildup on Gaza border. Presently Sheikh Jarrah, an East Jerusalem neighborhood is presenting a flashpoint where clashes are underway between Israeli Jews and Muslims and hundreds of Palestinians are facing the threat of eviction on the hands of Jewish settlers. According to experts if it happens it would create another disaster for innocent Palestinians.
The situation is very grave and disturbing. It is time for Muslim Ummah to display unity in demonstrating solidarity with Palestinian people in their just struggle to end illegal Israeli occupation of Palestine.
