Paramedics demand increase in posts

TIMERGARA:  The Lower Dir paramedical association on Monday announced to hold protests on Dec, 26 and 27 at district head quarter hospital Timergara and participate in the Jinnah Park protest rally on Jan, 3 for acceptance of their demands.

The announcement was made during a meeting of the association held at DHQ hospital Timergara with its president Muhammad Rahim in the chair. All district and tehsil office bearers attended the meeting. The meeting agreed with the decision made by the provincial association of paramedics. The participants demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to notify the remaining parts of the service structure for all paramedics and increase 60 per cent posts in grade 14, 16, 17 and 18.

They also demanded immediate adjustment and transfers of leaders of paramedical association. They decided to observe token boycott on Dec, 26 and 27 by wearing black arm bands at the DHQ hospital Timergara. The meeting also decided to hold general body gathering at the hospital on Dec, 28. It also announced full participation in the Jinnah Park Peshawar protest rally to be held on Jan, 03.
