LAHORE: Head of Junior Selection Committee, Basit Ali has announced 15 member squad and four reserve players for the ICC U-19 Cricket World Cup 2018 which will be played in New Zealand.
The Pakistan team will also feature in a three match series against Australia on 27, 29 and 31 December and after the series they will travel to New Zealand to play the two matches against New Zealand team in January.
The team will then feature in the ICC U-19 World Cup starting from January 13, 2018 in New Zealand.
The training camp for the U-19 team will be set up at the National Cricket Academy, Lahore from December 7 to December 20, 2017. The team will depart for Australia on December 21, 2017.
In the 15 members squad are including Mohsin Khan, Imran Shah, Zaid Alam, Rohail Nazir (wicketkeeper, vice captain), Muhammad Taha, Emmad Alam, Ali Zaryab, Saad Khan, Hassan Khan (captain), Musa Khan, Shaheen Shah, Munir Riaz, Arshad Iqbal, Muhammad Ali, Suleman Shafqat
Reserve players are Muhammad Junaid, Haider Ali, Muhammad Ilyas, Azam Khan, Mukhtair Ahmad (wicketkeeper)
