PCB bans Sharjeel Khan for five years in PSL spot fixing

LAHORE: Anti Corruption Tribunal of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced five years banned against Sharjeel Khan for his alleged involvement in spot fixing during the PSL.

In the order it said that Sharjeel Khan will not be allowed to play domestic or any kind of cricket and after the PCB will put him under observations. The detail judgment of the case will later be published.

The spot fixing case was started against Sharjeel Khan on March 24 this year.

However, Advocate of Sharjeel Khan, Shegan Ijaz told that his legal team will file an appeal against the decision as we believed that the decision was not according the law and justice.

PCB legal Advisor, Taffazul Rizvi said that Sharjeel Khan was found guilty in all of allegations and accounts and he was given the minimum punishment with no fines and it also proves that we have strong evidence against the opening batsman.

Meanwhile, Sharjeel Khan denied his role in spot fixing during the PSL 2017.
