Peace in Afghanistan is not responsibility of Pakistan: Khawaja Asif

NEW YORK: Foreign Minister Khawaja Asif has said that peace and security in Afghanistan is not responsibility of Pakistan and adding that effective border management with Afghanistan is essential to stop movement of terrorists.

This he said while speaking at the Asia Society seminar in New York. Khawaja Asif said that increasing war in Afghanistan will not give positive result to US. After 16 years of war in Afghanistan shows that peace can only be restore through dialogues in Afghanistan, he added.

Peaceful Afghanistan is in the favor of Pakistan and no country has more desires of bringing peace in Afghanistan, Asif added.

He also blamed India for carrying out terrorist activities in Pakistan and using Afghanistan soil and claimed that more than 66 terrorist organizations are active inside India.
