Peace that doesn’t stop war is unacceptable: NSA

KABUL (Afghanistan Time): President Ghani’s National Security Advisor, Hamdullah Mohib rejected a peace that he called “will be unable to stop long war’.

“All Afghans want a peace with honor, the peace which can stabilize Afghanistan, not the peace which can only be in an agreement,” Mohib addressed a gathering in the western Herat province. “We were witnessing such peace agreement that didn’t bring stability in Afghanistan.”

The government called off an Intra-Afghan dialogue after the Qatari government rejected a list of delegation to the talks.

Abdul Qader Kamel, a political analyst says that a regional consensus should be provided to end the longest war in Afghanistan.

“Unfortunately, the greatest challenge before the peace process is lack of coordination, trust and flexibility among the Afghan politicians,” he said.
