Peshawar: YDA threatens to put hospitals on ‘lockdown’ if demands not met

PESHAWAR (Dunya News): The Young Doctors Association of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday protested in favour of their rights in Peshawar.

The Young Doctors belonging to various hospitals gathered in Hayatabad medical complex and staged protest.

They also took out a rally and reached Phase-3 Chowk. Later, they planned to protest outside health minister’s office but were barred from entrance in cantonment area by security forces.

YDA has given a six-day deadline to the government for fulfillment of demands and warned of a lockdown in hospitals if the government fails to take necessary action.
