PESHAWAR: Peshawar Zalmi decided to form four teams after 2 day Trials, twenty young cricketers will get training in the National Cricket Academy.
Trials continued at Hayatabad Cricket Stadium on the second day of Zalmi Talent Hunt organized by Pakistan Super League franchise Peshawar Zalmi. More than 10,000 young cricketers registered in the open trials. On the second day, more trials of the shortlisted cricketers took place.
Peshawar Zalmi Director of Cricket Mohammad Akram said that after the trials four teams have been formed namely Babar Azam XI, Darren Sammy XI, Inzamamul Haque XI and Kamran Akmal XI. Matches will be held between these teams from tomorrow.
Zalmi Young XI consisting of twenty young cricketers will be select after completion of practice matches & Coaching facilities will be provided to these twenty young cricketers at PCB’s National Cricket Academy Lahore.
Muhammad Akram said that the best talent was seen during the trials andhe hope that these young cricketers will be an asset for Peshawar Zalmi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and for Pakistan in the future.
