SHARJAH: Peshawar Zalmi crushed the Lahore Qalandars by 10 wickets at the Sharjah International Stadium on Saturday.
After winning the toss and opted batting first, Lahore Qalandars took a flying start in the power play but later they continued to lose wickets and the Zalmi bowlers didn’t allow to score a decent total and they were all out on 100 runs.
Hasan Ali took three wickets on his return and Liam Dawson also grabbed three important wickets.
In reply, Peshawar Zalmi openers Kamran Akmal and Tamim Iqbal chased down the target of 101 in 13.4 overs.
Akmal scored 57, while his Bangladeshi counterpart played a knock of 37 runs.
This is the fifth consecutive loss of Lahore Qalandars in the PSL-3 and now they were almost out of the race.
