SWAT: Peshawar Zalmi will initiate cricket academy in Malam Jaba soon with collaboration of Malam Jaba ski resort to polish the local talent.

Zaid Khan GM fromSamson group of companies said, ” we are in collaboration with Peshawar Zalmi franchise to initiate cricket academy in Malam Jaba. He was talking to media after a friendly match between Peshawar Zalmi match closing ceremony. He added that they were working on feasibility to materialise the project as quick as possible.

“I have to Malam Jaba first time but never scenic place like Malam Jaba. Wahab Riaz, the skipper of Peshawar Zalmi Siad on the occasion. He viewed that he enjoyed the scenery more than the game. The credit goes to the all the govt machineries who are doing great contribution for tourism.

In the friendly match, Malam Jaba team scored 64 runs which was successfully chased by the Zalmi team in 5 overs.

Umeed Asif from Peshawar Zalmi termed the match as new trend for the promotion of tourism. ” Some of the legend players; Hashim Amla, Darren Summy, Kamran etc. are there and will be long lasting impacts on the sports and tourism of this area.”

Malam Jaba would be an ideal place for the international cricket in future.
