KARACHI: The petrol price in Pakistan is expected to be increased by Rs 7 after the exchange rate of US dollar continuously increasing.
As per the experts, the petroleum price has increased in the international market in the last 20 days and the Pakistani currency has also devalued against the dollar.
Industry sources have said that due to the prevailing conditions in the international and interbank market, there is a possibility of petrol’s price being increased by Rs7 per litre.
Sources said that the price of Petrol may increase to Rs 7 per liter and similarly the price of diesel may increase by Rs5 and kerosene oil may face an increase Rs6.
The government had increased the price of petrol by Rs2.49 and the price of diesel by Rs5.19 last month.
