PESHAWAR: The two-member bench of Peshawar High Court comprising of Justice Ijaz Anwar and Justice Arshad Ali directed Khyber Medical University and other respondents to submit comments in case regarding aspirant of medical studies till 31 January, on Monday.
The counsel for petitioner Zia-ur-Rehman Tajik Advocate informed that Muzesg-u-Rehman along with other 100 petitioners had qualified medical entry test and their names were displayed in provisional merit list.
The counsel further added that in the meantime KMU had advertised that students who are lift from entry test and did their exam after delay shall also able to apply for admissions.
The counsel Zia-u-Rehman Tajik argued that Pakistan Medical Commission had issued notification in this regard on 4/5 November 2021 stating that students who had improved their score shall able for admission in next session while KMU issued directives contradictory with the commission. The counsel argued that candidates who had improved their scores in second phase shall impact the petitioners right therefore requested to set-aside the orders.
The two-member bench directed KMU and other respondents to submit comments and adjourned further hearing till 31 January.
