PESHAWAR: The two-member bench of Peshawar High Court comprising of Justice Lal Jan Khattak and Justice Musrt Hilali directed Secretary and Director Industries along with Deputy Commissioner Nowshera to submit comments and granted status quo to Adil Model Town.
The counsel for M/S Adil Model Town Adnan Awan Advocate informed court that the petitioner has obtained the land through bid from banking court which was the property of Adam Jee paper mills and now housing society is constructing on the plot.
The counsel further added that Industries department had raised objections over establishment of society on the plot while petitioner has contested the case at High Court and Supreme Court for 10 years and courts had granted judgment in the favor of petitioner.
