PESHAWAR: A divisional bench comprising of Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Justice Qaiser Rashid and Justice SM Attique Shah has imposed Rs.50,000/- fine on Shabbir Ahmad for producing fake receipts in Zarai Taraqyati Bank Limited (ZTBL) and turndown writ petition, on Friday.
The petitioner claimed that he had returned loan to ZTBL but the bank did not producing receipts before and demanding further Rs.300,000/- lac while plea has also uphold before banking court but the petition was turndown.
However, ZTBL’s lawyer Taimour Noor Advocate along with bank representative Fahad Nawaz informed court that the receipts did not available on file because Shabbir Ahmad has provided fake receipts while court has constituted commission chaired by Muhammad Ali to check authenticity which was found fabricated.
Muhammad Ali Advocate informed PHC that the petitioner has tampered receipts of 2003 and made it of 2017 returning to ZTBL and added that its makes it fake and fabricated.
The divisional bench annoyed the attitude of petitioner and imposed Rs.50,000/- fine by turndown writ petition while warned Shabbir Ahmad that next time First Information Report shall be lodge against him.
