PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) partially allowed writ petition of Institute of Professional Studies (IPS) to extend that enrolled students should complete their respective degree, on Monday.
In this regard PHC has announced decision stating that writ is partially allowed and disposed of in the manner that the already admitted students of the petitioner-institute be allowed to complete their degrees and appear in the upcoming examination MBA.
Moreover, the judgement stated that the prayer regarding setting aside of the decision of HEC taken in its meeting held on 07 September 2022 is declined and it is held that decision of the HEC shall have prospective effect accordingly.
PHC has partially allowed writ in favor of Institute of Professional Studies in which Higher Education Commission, Vice Chancellor University of Peshawar (UOP), Registrar, Assistant Registrar Affiliation, Controller Examination, Director and Assistant Registrar Admission UOP were made respondents.
