PESHAWAR: The two-member bench of Peshawar High Court comprising of Justice Shakeel Ahmad and Justice Sahibzada Asadullah reduced imprisonment of drug peddler to four instead six years.

The trial court has convicted the culprit namely Shafiq Ullah for six years imprisonment for smuggling six kilogram heroin.

The counsel for petitioner Danyal Asad Chamkani Advocate informed PHC that on 19 July 2019 anti-smuggling cell of Excise recovered six kilogram heroin from vehicle and arrested convicted petitioner at Jangali check post.

The counsel requested for acquittal of petitioner but PHC has partially admitted appeal and reduced imprisonment from six years to four year.
