PHC rejects bail plea of Afghan national

PESHAWAR: Peshawar High Court (PHC) on Monday rejected bail application of Afghan national namely Mohib Ullah, who had allegedly obtained Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) of Pakistan.

The petitioner was arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on allegation that Mohaib Ullah had obtained Pakistani CNIC illegally.

The counsel for petitioner informed Peshawar High Court that Mohib Ullah has entered to Pakistan on valid visa.

The petitioner was arrested by FIA when he was renewing his CNIC from NADRA center Peshawar Cant.

The petitioner had also obtained domicile of Peshawar but now he rejected the allegation.

The petition was heard by single bench comprising of Justice Qaiser Rashid and rejected the bail plea.
